Help us update Aging Well Whatcom’s Blueprint

It’s been two years since the original Blueprint was released, and the Aging Well Whatcom Steering Committee is pausing to assess what progress has been made and how we may want to revise the Blueprint strategies. We are gathering input in several ways, and hope you will participate and/or forward this invitation to colleagues, friends, and family.

  1. All older adults in Whatcom County are invited to complete our survey about current concerns and priorities by December 15th.

  2. We are hosting a series of community discussions via Zoom on each of the Blueprint’s six focus areas (see details below).

  3. Those who are unable to attend a Zoom session can share their thoughts via surveys that correspond to the six Blueprint areas by December 15th.

Community discussions on the Blueprint’s six focus areas

We hope you can participate in at least one discussion of a Blueprint area; you’re invited to attend them all!  For each focus area, we will be asking participants to share the work they are doing or know about, and perspectives on what they see as the greatest opportunities and needs/challenges for creating a community for aging well.
